The LinkedIn Space Race: Are We All Just Pretending to Be Astronauts?

I’ve been on LinkedIn for about a week now, mostly as a way to self-promote my books and see what the platform has to offer. Let me tell you, it’s already blown my mind—and not in a good way.

I mean, LinkedIn is full of people showing off how they climbed the Himalayas, went to the moon and back, and now they’re prepping for their Mars exploration. Like, seriously? Is this for real? 😂 It’s like everyone’s trying to one-up each other on how ‘cool’ and ‘adventurous’ their lives are. But here’s the kicker—AI is taking over people’s bios, messages, life experiences, and self-expression everywhere. And some are treating it like it’s the next big thing since sliced bread.

Look, I get it, we all want to stand out. We all want to be seen, valued, praised, and eventually hired. But AI-abandoned usage stinks so much! If any of you out there need advice on how to actually survive a Mars mission, I’m happy to offer some real guidance. Check my blog for five essential tips, for free! 😂 Trust me, it’s not all moon landings and Mars dreams!

Anyway, just had to share my first week’s experience. Maybe I’m just missing the point, or maybe LinkedIn’s future is as out-of-this-world as some of the posts I’ve been seeing. Is this written by AI after all? Or am I just a wannabe writer with big hopes and dreams? Who knows… ask Gork. Haha!
