Bringing The Poky Little Puppy to Life in Albanian

I’ve just completed translating The Poky Little Puppy, one of the original 12 books in the Little Golden Books series, into Albanian as QENUSHI I VOGËL DHE I NGATHËT. This cherished tale has always held a special place in my heart, a story as timeless as the love it conveys. The curious little puppy’s adventures, filled with gentle lessons on kindness and curiosity, unfold like a warm embrace. As I translated each word, I reflected on how this simple yet profound story, first published in 1942, has sparked joy and learning in the hearts of generations, guiding them toward making thoughtful choices. It is an honor to share this piece of childhood with Albanian-speaking readers, and my hope is that they, too, will feel the magic it has passed on to so many others.
